About Course
We appreciate that every child learns differently, and consequently, our tutors are experienced in teaching children using a variety of different techniques and methods. Our tutors differentiate the classwork and homework so that it is at the correct level for your child, as well as listening to their students’ needs and concerns, in order to tailor their teaching style to each individual student’ requirements. We are quick to identify any weaknesses your child may have through regular communication, assessments and feedback. We believe in consistently maintaining a positive learning environment in which students feel supported, motivated, and happy.
We also fully understand the extensive preparation needed for the 11+ exams; therefore, our course structure is created to ensure your child gets the best possible learning experience. We have a wide range of resources which have all the relevant material necessary for the exams.
What will you learn
- Our 11+ students range from 8–11-year-olds. It is, of course, the parent’s choice when they want to start their child’s learning support, but we feel that the earlier the better so that the student can become accustomed to the style of learning in our tuition early on.
- Group Tutoring: Our classes have around 5/6 students in each group, creating a personalized and calm learning environment in which the teachers can provide individual focus as well as encourage peer orientated learning
- Our centre creates personalised resources in line with the national curriculum, ensuring that we target each individual student directly in regard to their needs and abilities, whilst still working within the 11 plus scheme.
